New for 2009, two showmanships
will be conducted.
Two age divisions with two judges in each ring will run simultaneously. A surrogate judge in each ring will work the heats while the two judges silently evaluate the heats and select participants to return for their final drives. Two sets of finals for each age division will be shown (one final drive for each of the judges in each ring). Thus, two sets of showmanship points will be awarded. The judges in one ring will evaluate two divisions, while the judges in the other ring will evaluate three age divisions. |

OCA BEST Team Fitting Contest
Friday, Cooper Arena
Participants: Fitting Contest Teams will be made up of 4 individuals. Each individual team member must be a BEST participant.
Age – New for 2009, teams must consist of the following: one member from either the Novice or Beginner division and one from each of the remaining divisions: Junior, Intermediate and Senior.
Entry – Entry forms must be submitted to the OCA office by: Thursday, January 15, 2009. Entry fee is $20 per team and must be included with the entry form.
Substitution – In a case of emergency, a maximum of one team member may be substituted. The resulting team must still meet all of the aforementioned requirements.

Jr. Exhibitor Pizza Party
As the fitting contest draws to a close on Friday night, the celebration will continue with the Junior Show Welcome Pizza Party. This event is open to all junior exhibitors.
